Designated Fund established in 2000 by the CEC Board of Directors

The David and Margaret Bottorff Math and Science Initiative for Elementary Teachers was established to provide grants to elementary teachers for math and science related programming. Dave and Margaret have been part of the Columbus community since 1968, Dave as a member of the Cummins management organization and Margaret with BCSC teaching in the elementary area. As we look into the future of our community, we have a vision to help support young students with their aspirations as they address their future challenges through the venues of math and science. We hope these funds will be used in a variety of ways to stimulate, excite and inspire elementary students in these areas.
