Patrick Bowman Memorial Music Fund

Established in memory of Patrick Bowman by his parents, Rick and Judy Bowman, as well as family and friends, to honor Patrick’s love of music. Patrick performed as a country music singer and songwriter under the stage name “Tilford Sellers” for nearly 10 years until his tragic death in an automobile accident in 2018. This fund may be used for tuition and/or music-related expenses such as music/songwriting lessons, equipment, travel, recording fees, etc.

One Step at a Time Scholarship

Established to assist students taking the next step in their educational pursuits at local accredited post-secondary institution.

Myron Glick Memorial Scholarship

Established by the Indiana Soybean Board to honor Mr. Glick, who died on his farm in July 2005. Following graduation from Purdue, Myron returned to his family farm and seed business in Bartholomew County. At the time of his death, he was serving his eighth year as Director of the Indiana Soybean Board.

Mary E. Behler Memorial Scholarship

Established by Mrs. Behler’s daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mike Keogh, in memory of Mrs. Behler’s strong faith and love of education.

Marvin Johnson Scholarship

Established in memory of Marvin Johnson, founder of Marvin Johnson & Associates, a truck insurance company headquartered in Columbus.

Marguerite Burns Rust Scholarship

Established by Marguerite Burns Rust, a former resident of Columbus, who was interested in helping others further their education.

Louis A. and Kathy M. Giovanini Scholarship

Established by Mr. and Mrs. Giovanini to provide an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from Columbus East High School. Mr. Giovanini was a coach and teacher at Columbus East for more than 25 years and Mrs. Giovanini was an elementary teacher in the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for 20 years.
