Columbus Youth Hockey/Bryan Ritz Memorial Hockey Fund (Varies)

Established by the Columbus Youth Hockey Organization and later designated in memory of Bryan Ritz, who died in an automobile accident in 1994 at the age of 17. Bryan loved hockey and participated in the Columbus Youth Hockey program from the time he was 5 years old.

Columbus Crush Scholarship

Established by a group of Bartholomew County parents whose children wanted to play competitive travel baseball in 2000 and supported by the Bartholomew County Parks and Recreation Board of Directors.

Columbus Business and Professional Women’s Scholarship

Established by the Columbus Business and Professional Women’s organization (BPW) in memory of Mabel Suverkrup, a charter member of the Columbus BPW (1923); and Conni Richards, a member active on both the local and state levels of BPW.

Columbus Autism Network Scholarship

Established in 2017 by the Columbus Autism Network (CAN) to assist an individual who has been diagnosed on the autism spectrum in seeking a postsecondary education.

Charles D. Shepherd Memorial Scholarship

Established by family and friends in memory of Charles Shepherd, who passed away in 2002. Mr. Shepherd was a retired vice president of engineering at Arvin Industries North American.

Bob and Marcy Oswald Engineering Scholarship

Established by Bob and Marcy Oswald, former residents of Columbus, to promote engineering education. Mr. Oswald is the retired chairman of the Robert Bosch Corporation in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
