Community Fund Grants Available to Nonprofits

Nonprofit organizations serving Bartholomew County
residents are encouraged to apply for Community Fund grants through Heritage
Fund.
The community foundation currently is accepting competitive applications for
grant awards. The deadline for submission is 4:30 p.m. April 3. Grant seekers
are advised a letter of intent (LOI) to notify Heritage Fund staff of interest in the
application is required one week prior to the application deadline.
Through the generous support of community members, Heritage Fund annually
distributes approximately $750,000 to local nonprofits from the unrestricted
Community Fund. Community Fund grants help Heritage Fund to meet
emerging needs in Bartholomew County with an emphasis on the Impact Areas
of Youth Development; Downtown Vitality; and Arts/Culture/Architecture/
Design.
Grant awards will be announced in June.
