Bill and Jody Harter Scholarship

Description

Established by Mr. and Mrs. Harter, longtime Columbus residents, to encourage higher education for residents of Bartholomew County. Bill served as an instructor at both IU Columbus and Ivy Tech State College for nine years.

Criteria

Residents of Bartholomew County who are graduating seniors or graduates of a Bartholomew County high school currently attending or planning to attend IUPUC, Ivy Tech Community College Columbus, or Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Columbus as full-time students pursuing an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree.
Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Recipients may re-apply annually as long as they remain in good standing with their college or university.
