Foods and/or Nutrition-Related Careers Scholarship

Description

Established to assist students who are studying nutrition science, food science, consumer or extension education or hospitality management.

Criteria

Bartholomew County graduating high school senior pursuing postsecondary education on a full-time basis in a food/nutrition-related major (i.e. nutrition science, food science, family and consumer sciences education, culinary arts, hospitality, cooperative extension education).
Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Academic performance will be considered.
Preference will be given to students active in Family Career and Community Leadership of America (FCCLA), 4-H or C4 and/or who demonstrate work experience or volunteer activity in their chosen field of study.
Recipients may reapply annually provided they have a minimum 2.5 GPA at their college/university.
