Goldie Gibson Memorial Scholarship

Description

Established in memory of Goldie Gibson. Ms. Gibson worked on behalf of the poor in Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, and adjacent counties.

High school graduates or graduating seniors from Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson, or Shelby counties.
Applicants must have been accepted to or be attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution in pursuit of a technical certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree.
Preference will be given to applicants who have participated in Head Start.
Past recipients may re-apply.
