Helmut O. von Buchler and Hartmut K. von Buchler 4-H Memorial Scholarship

Description

Established by Christa M. von Buchler in memory of her husband, Helmut, and her son Hartmut. The von Buchlers came to Bartholomew County from Germany in 1955. Their family has always been involved with the 4-H program.

Criteria

Bartholomew County resident who is a graduating senior from a public or private high school who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in pursuit of a technical certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree and who is a ten-year member of the Bartholomew County 4-H Program and/or a three-year member of the Bartholomew County 4-H Junior Leaders program.

Financial need will be considered.
