Hispanic-Latino Scholarship

Description

Established to provide tuition and fees for undocumented and/or DACA Hispanic/Latino students who attend IU Columbus, IU Indianapolis, Purdue Polytechnic Columbus, or Ivy Tech Community College Columbus.

Criteria

Applicants who are graduates of a high school in Bartholomew, Jackson, Johnson, Marion or Shelby counties in Indiana will be given preference. Otherwise, applicants must provide transcript evidence of their high school equivalent work outside of the US. Applicants should have been born in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, or Nicaragua. Applicants should provide their current DACA certification from the US government or a birth certificate or applicable consular document showing their place of birth. Applicants should have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and/or a cumulative college GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Email mfsouza@iupuc.edu for more information.
