Karen Ann Coffman Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Description

Established by James Coffman in memory of his wife, Karen, who passed away in 2003. Mrs. Coffman served as a school nurse for 30 years and was Director of Health Services for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation at the time of her death.

Criteria

Resident of Bartholomew County who will be pursuing an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Applicant must have a high school or college GPA of at least a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Applicant must demonstrate interest and experience in health care through volunteer service, education, training, and employment.
Financial need will be considered.
