S. Edgar & Delora L. Lauther Memorial Scholarship

Description

Established by the estate of Delora L. Lauther. Mr. and Mrs. Lauther lived in Columbus for many years. Mr. Lauther was a former president of Irwin Union Bank & Trust Co.

Criteria

Residents of Bartholomew County who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in business or business-related fields (including general management, entrepreneurship, accounting, economics and marketing), as well as residents of Bartholomew County who are employed in the fields of banking and finance and wish to pursue continuing education courses in their field (whether those courses lead to a degree or not).
Undergraduate and graduate applicants must show proof of admission into their college or university’s school of business or management, as well as proof of major or enrollment in class.
Preference will be given to students concentrating in fields of study related to banking and finance.
Award payments renewable for up to four years of study.
