Myron Glick Memorial Scholarship

Established by the Indiana Soybean Board to honor Mr. Glick, who died on his farm in July 2005. Following graduation from Purdue, Myron returned to his family farm and seed business in Bartholomew County. At the time of his death, he was serving his eighth year as Director of the Indiana Soybean Board.

Kirby and Caroline Risk Scholarship

Sherry Stark, a former President and CEO of Heritage Fund, created this scholarship in memory of her parents, who both attended Purdue University. Kirby Risk founded Kirby Risk Corporation in Lafayette, Indiana. He was active in civic activities, including bringing Junior Achievement to Lafayette. Caroline Risk, a singer, was a member of the Queen’s Court at the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair. Both were deeply involved in helping young people. Sherry Stark’s sons graduated from Wabash and Hanover Colleges. This scholarship is intended to reward well-rounded students who demonstrate service to others.

Harold R. Crawford Memorial Scholarship

Established to honor Harold R. Crawford who passed in 2014. Harold was a graduate of Purdue University in engineering and a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force. Harold was very proud of serving his country and appreciated the education he received in earning his engineer degree. Harold, being a member of Columbus for most of his life, would be honored to offer financial assistance to a fellow Columbus student to receive a valuable education in engineering.
