Types of Funds

Heritage Fund offers a wide range of fund types to accommodate a donor’s particular passion or charitable intent as well as address the needs of our community;

Designated Funds – Donors designate specific not-for-profit organizations to receive grants.

Donor Advised Funds – Donors recommend non-for-profit organizations to receive grants.

Field of Interest Funds – Donors select charitable interest areas to receive grants.

Scholarship Funds – Donor gifts provide scholarships with specific criteria.

Agency Designated Funds – Funds established by an organization or donor for the benefit of an organization.

Personal Foundation Funds (a type of donor advised fund) – For donors looking to practice strategic philanthropy at the highest level.
